THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD
Give extra taste to your spoons by adding herbs and spices such as Paprika, Sesame seeds. Poppy seeds. Dried Herbs etc. Just sprinkle them over the thick slice of bread then press in with the rolling pin.
The spoons will keep for weeks in an airtight container however serve as soon as possible after filling them,.
The bread left over after stamping out need not be wasted, just bake in oven with the spoons, they can be eaten as rusks or ground in the food processor into breadcrumbs for coating fish etc or fried mixed with beaten egg and milk to make great pancakes.

Quails eggs and caviar Liver pate
Avocado and cream cheese Humus and olives
Taramasalata Goats cheese and red pepper

Duck and plum sauce Gravalax and dressing
Delicious for mini desserts, melt some chocolate and dunk the bread spoons up to the handle in chocolate, leaving some handle free for holding.
Put the chocolate covered spoons into the freezer until wanted.
Can be filled with sweet fillings i.e. Strawberries and Whipped Cream or other summer fruits
